Flareside bed
Seems like I read here a while back that Ford used the same flareside bed from like 1953 to 1977....I went to a junkyard today and saw one that looked to be much straighter than the one currently in my '54...It also had the side spare tire carrier like mine has...Since they're single wall bedsides, it seems like it would be a difficult task to smooth out both the inside and outside of the bedwalls, which is why I'm considering buying the one at the junkyard...I don't know diddly about bodywork, so I guess my question is two-fold...1) Does it make sense to pay for and go through the necessary labor to switch out the bed for a smoother one?...2)Anybody here interested in either one of these flareside beds that I decide not to use?...
This is the point...I'm....talking about everybody! I'm talking about form! I'm talking about content! I'm talking about interrelationships! I'm talking about God, the devil, hell, heaven!!!! Do you understand???? Finally!!!!

I don't want to give em a heart-attack. That is what would happen if I answered the door in the buff. Heck it almost scares me to death when I step out of the shower and look in the mirror.~Mancar1~

re: Flareside bed
I say grab the nice flareside bed if the price is right. You know I love flaresides, simple, light, short, etc. etc., and theyre relatively rare. I see alot of good deals on just the bed, ...should be easy to switch.
