replacement drip rail question

Post by Kurt Combs »

Does anyone make replacement drip rails for a bump? Mine was filled with something by the PO. The rail is rusted through and the area between the rail and the windshield is pretty rusty. I might be able to repair this area if I can find the pieces. I have also thought about just finding another roof and cutting and replacing the whole unit, though this seems like a lot of work. Anyone have experience with a roof change? I'm an experienced welder and fitter, so that part is not a problem. BTW, my bump leaks inside because of the rust, so I keeps me from making the inside nicer as it will just get wet next winter.

have you read kieths project page for his 67. he did some work with his roof when he first started his project. getting another roof or part of a roof is the easiest way to go. i also have two good roofs i am keeping around for those who might want or need one.

Mike J, That sounds like a great idea, but I think the shipping would be a bit much. I'm in northern California. Thanks for the offer.

Mike J,

I think you are confusing me with another Kurt, I don't have a crew.
