Brake calipers

I have the dual cylinder disc brake calipers on the front of my truck, and was wondering if there is a vender that carries these rebuilt? My brakes are kinda jerking, or surging??? maybe, feels sorta like an anti lock system when I stand on the pedel with fairly good pressure. I was figuring on replacing the master cylinder and both front calipers, and having the roters turned.

One more question I guess, is ther any difference in the master cylinders, for the disc brakes, for single cylinder or dual cylinders?, and or the vacuum boosters?

I already had the back brakes completly rebuilt two years ago, and thay have maybe 5K miles on them.

Hey Bro,

NPD lists the calipers for a '72 F-250 but doesn't say if they are for the CS model or not... They list part number F-2B120-5 for either side...
NPD lists 2 MC's F-2140-18 and F-2140-8 (equal reservoirs)

i just searched our local parts warehouse and they have both single and dual piston calipers in stock. you may want to try local parts stores first

I will check with NPD, as well as local parts houses for the calipers, (if needed). Actually the MC, and calipers are just about all that is needed for a complete brake re-build. The PO had all new steel lines put on, and I replaced the rear wheel cyinders, and front hoses a couple of years ago. So really all that is needed for the rebuild to be complete is the calipers and master cylinder. If the rotors are in good enough shape I will simply have them turned.
