short bed wheel base measurment?

i am working on a 70 ranger shortbed. i have not had any luck finding what the proper wheel base should be, my truck has had suspension work done on both ends and i am trying to fix some thing and need to check the wheel base. any help would be great.

115 inches for the short bed

thank you stevec, the wheel base on the truck now is 114 1/2" so they was pretty close. i couldn't ask for better placement of the wheel in the front fender well, so i will just adjust the bed to cab space if needed.
