Are the stock bent lines crooked and bent in only one coil like that? I think IMO they look like a bird nest wrapped like that. I'd like to redo mine on my 66 F100 and have a tight 1 1/2 inch coil (about 2 or 3 coils long) for each line comming out of the M/C and then ran down to the proportioning valve or whatever the block is sitting on top of the steering box. Any idea's on how to make a tight 1.5 or 1 inch wrapped coil? I busted my line comming out of the M/C the other day doing a power steering conversion too...
A tight curl is better than none, but a larger looser curl is better still. I'd recommend a minimum of 3"-4" to ensure they do their job of absorbing vibration.

I'll take your advice and do them more losely and actually I just looked at a ruler and 1.5 inches is NOT what I was thinking in my head... I am thinking more like the diameter of the top silver part of a coke can. I guess that is more like 2.5 inches?

yeah a 12x12x4 box for a 3" item. atleast it had some nice new christmas wrapping paper as filler
a oversized box doesnt start getting oversized until it reaches 12x12x12. that is the oversized starting point. i will figure that out after my wife gets back and we eat.
