new since i bought my new old 72 three weeks ago.

Post by westernkansas »

just bought a 72 f100, $500.00 cash, was told it has only 5000 miles on rebuild tranny and motor, drove it back the 110 some miles home with no problem doing 65. I really enjoy reading about the project trucks and can't wait to explore the rest of this site. have found a few sites on-line to get parts, one in kansas city and the other in oklahoma city. salvage trucks are at slim pickings around here. hope to make friends on here seems like a good bunch.

Welcome and congrats on your truck... if you only paid $500 and you were able to DRIVE it home 110 miles away, then you definately got yourself a good deal! You'll find tons of great info here and a lotta great, helpful people too. Good luck with your truck. Oh and, when you have a chance, post some pics of your truck for us!
