does anyone know what this is for? and is it factory? dealer add-on? p.o.? it's a 3/16" steel plate welded to the front of the bed with angle iron welded on top of that, i'm guessing p.o. but not sure, the only purpose i can see it serving is protecting the in cab tank from puncture were a heavy load of rebar or something to get loose on you, i dunno

its probably a po add on. for hauling rebar or something else that might have dented or went throught the front of the bed.
