Any rim pics?

Post by wildcard »

I've been considering some Crager SS Mags for my 71. Anyone have a pic of a LWB with them ? Hopefully a white truck. I have a toolbox and bedrails on it also and was wondering what it might look like.

Hey wilcard I had "SS"'s on my '72 unfortunately I don't have a side shot of it . In my opinion those wheels are made for our trucks. I went with the Weld's this time (got a heck of a deal on tires and wheels combo. Thank to cobraf100) but I was leaning to the cragar . I raelly think you will love the look.

I think so too. I know they look good on a SWB. There's an early 70s model cheby that's been restored a few miles from here with them that looks real good.
Please don't punish me for saying that, I swear I was only looking at the rims. :o

I've got pics of a few SWB trucks with that style of rim, but this is the only LWB I could find with 'em in my collection.

I think it's just the driver's door that looks a little misaligned.

Anyway, this was an E-bay truck back in 2005. (If it was relisted last year I neglected to save that info...but from checking the seller's feedback, I see no feedback listed for this item, so it must not have sold again.) It's got a Fatman's Fabrications front-end under it, and coilover/ladderbar rear suspension. I saved all the pics from this listing along with the listing info. The truck got 57 bids up to $15,100 without meeting reserve.

i found them. to tell the truth i don't know what under it. doesn't have a rack in the front but does have tubular a-arms. also the brakes are mounted in the front part of the rotor instead of the backside.

also it has 2 fours on it not 3 twos.
