Another Henry Ford Faithful

Post by cjhall »

Hey There,

This site is such a huge wealth of information, I'm glad to now be a part of it. I am truly a Ford fan. In addition to the 1970 F100 short bed I just picked up, my Father and I are in the middle of a frame off restoration of our 1930 Deluxe Coupe. I love Henry's Model A's. I am a member of the Sacramento Capital A's, check out our web site!

As for the F100, it has a 302 small block and C4 transmission (which I will be rebuilding in a couple of weeks, I'll let you know how it turns out). I have rough plans for hot rod truck. 347 stroker ??? I will lower it a little for a more aggressive stance. Baby Moons on some nice tread. A lot of custom work in the interior (I won't give too much away here !!!!).

Anyway, it is a rolling, daily driving, project so I'm sure it will take longer than I like. And I just about have a rolling chassis with my Model A, so the body work will be next, we hope to have it finished this summer!!

Thanks for reading this,

Chris

Howdy from Virginia. Glad to hear of another bump nut. Send pics soon. Have fun with your plans on your truck. These trucks are fun to mess with.
