F350 rear spring rebuild

Even with new front coils, my truck is still listing to port a couple inches. I took it to my local spring shop (about 35 miles away). The owners says that he'd add one leaf in each pack, re-arch them, restrap them. replace the bushings and Ubolts for about $450. Does that sound right.

Sounds about right to me, (I've had 1/2 tons re-arched with a new leaf for around 3 bills).
Never had one ton springs re-arched though, (but I'll hopefully be doing the same thing).

Could/would he give you a price on a new set?

He said over $200 each. I found 'em at rockauto.com for $178 (I think) + shipping. They are not listed for our trucks, but are the same thru '97. I just have to come up with the money.
