rechroming
I know on the anodized aluminum parts that the anodizing can be removed with Easy Off oven cleaner...what, if anything, is necessary to prepare a chromed piece for rechroming?

Hey tonpartain...
Iike the others have said, unless yer fabbin' something to be chromed the first time there is little you can do for prepping except cleaning the dirt off of it.
I'd be curious to see what yer havin' re-plated and what it is gonna run...
I have a few things I'd like to have redone myslf...
