Its an Unknown KeyHole!

Post by RWG »

So just to entertain myself Id like to know what the key hole below the gas cap on my 72 dent is for?

I don't have a key for it but I bet a good locksmith could solve that problem for me...

I know its probably a gas cap lock of some sort but hey I think its a good question..

Thanks!

On the drivers side of the cab about 8 to 10 inches below the gas cap.

i would look inside the cab and follow wht ever rods or wires that it goes to. that is not a stock item. maybe it was to a alarm system for the truck.

This one ended up being an early alarm key.... It has no wires on it and I guess its going to be filled in when I start the body work..

Thanks guys!
