Racing stripe question?

Post by cghstrojan08 »

Do you think our trucks would look good with two racing stripes down the truck? If so, what color on my truck? Thanks

I like two black stripes on the hood of the brighter colored trucks, don't think racing stripes would look very good.

My :2cents: :

I think your truck is more of a cowbow than a racer. I would Paint the Roof White.

If you had the small side mirrors and ditched the smoke stacks and fog lights, I would do a single offset silver strip down the drivers side 8-9" wide. Then run a 1/4" stripe on eather side of that.

Ok, won't do the stripe. I would paint it with the white top or take my stacks off. I love my stacks.

Hello,
Personally i think your truck has an "18 wheeler" theme with the tool box, stacks, top lights, lots of chrome etc.. You need to stay with your theme, the racing stripes will be confusing to the eye, if it was me, i would do a white top.
keep the stacks, i kinda like them.
What happens in the rain when they fill with water?

Rain is no problem when its running. I made some plastic pipes with tops to go over the stacks when the truck is parked.

i think it looks good the way it is. if you've got money to sink into it now i'd go for performance parts.
