Some time ago i seen a post on using a dakota front end kit and it had some links but it was some time ago. does anyone remember this and if so have the link for it??

do you use a donor truck if you get just the cross member? how hard is it to make the bolt patterns match a ford bolt pattern (I am pretty sure I am going to go with Independent Rear Suspension and want to keep the bolt pattern the same all the way around.

I will be asking lots of questions for those who are willing to help I am starting to collect all the parts to frame off my 67 and i will also add more before pics soon.

the owner is over on th HAMB (www.jalopyjournal.com) as "el polocko" or similar. He rally knows his stuff. If you are wanting to lay out fully, your gong to need to "Z" the front end 3 inches, as our frames just dont kick up at all like dodge and chevy frames. The 61-66 kit DOES fit our trucks from what he says.

Also, you use a donor clip for suspension.
