1ton704x4,

Post us a picture or two and the VIN if you can...we can decode it to see if it was 250 or 350...

Oh yeah, Welcome to the forums and the site!

Hi and welcome from Pennsylvania. :) It's possible that your truck has had the hood replaced for some reason.

:wel: from Florida.

You'll find your vin on the driver's side door.
That's a good start.

I'm thinking it is a F350...the dually wheels lead me in that direction.

DRW 4x4s didn't come from the factory until the '80s. It's a conversion fror sure, but the question is by who? There were companies that made conversions, Napco was one and I can't think of the other now.
What is the width of the frame in the rear? The DRW 1 tons are 34" wide. The SRW trucks may be be wider (they are on the newer trucks). The VIN would help. Are there any other tags or ID plates on it? Does the front axle look like a Dana 60? Got picks of the front axles or transfer case?
It doesn't have rear helper springs either which is odd, but neither did my F350. They can be added from up to a '97 F350.
What ever it is, its cool. I wish mine was 4x4.
