i guess ill just use the closest color i can find.
probably skyview blue since its kinda close and its the original color of my truck.
Hold on a min!!! If you still have some of the old paint in good shape like the back side of the glove box door, You can take that to a auto paint store and they can put a lazer on it and get it dead on!! Or you can look at all the paint they can do and get a custom one!!

We had to put a lazer on my glove box door and the paint we got is from ppg and you can't get any closer then what I got.

i am trying to match the paint on the truck in the picture, not mine. i allready know that the original color of my truck is sky view blue. so i dont see the point of having them match it.

this one?

not to be picky but the blue is too much like the 71.
I like how the show truck has a aqua-ish look to it.

but i just looked at your engine compartment pictures and your cowl looks just like the show truck. its hard to tell from pictures.

still havent decided 100% on a paint..

i thought of another option... full white exterior, white interior (black/white seat, black carpet/firewall cover, and other parts will be black) .

anyone have any pictures of a white truck?
i looked everywhere on this site, but couldnt find a picture of a white truck. i want to see if it would look to plain.
ups and downs about painting a truck white?

I plan on doing mine 2 tone like the orange and white one on the second page. But i going black where its white and the factory color where its orange. I just have some chrome to find before i can complete it.

where would a good place to get paint from?
thats the problem i have now run into.
if i do all white, i would just get paintshop paint, but if i do 2 tone orange, i dont know where i would get a good selection.

and after looking threw all the factory brochures, i found this:

its not exactly what i was looking for, since the picture is bad quality and the white isnt very glossy but its the only pic i could find.

Nice truck, not plain but you can get an idea with it.
