I just bought a rust-free '69 Ranger CS - and I'd like to keep it that way. The truck had a good quality stock-color repaint about 10 years ago, and it's showing its age, but still shines up ok. I'd like to milk another few years out of it before the next repaint if possible, so I'm thinking about how to protect it. Unfortunately, my garage is, um... occupied... yeah, that's it... with um.... woodworking tools and... um... stuff....
Any suggestions on whether its better to cover the truck with a car cover vs letting it sit in the rain (California - no snow or salty roads)?
I'm concerned that moisture might build up underneath the cover and make it worse.
If you do use or recommend a cover, which is the best for my climate?
Thanks!
