Bed Size?

Is a 73 long bed the same as a 71 on the in side of bed?

I found a rubber mat for the in side of the bed but its for a 73.

this was discussed before and i think the final answer was no. because of the way the wheel wells are more of a slant out into the bed area. if that is the fact then the mat could be cut down to work properly.

The mat I found has a curved edge just for that. HUMMM
