factory disk brakes

is there a such thing? from this whole time ive had my truck, i just noticed i had disk brakes in the front. my truck is a 1971 f250 custom.
is this original?

They were an option starting in '68 on F250s, mandatory for Camper Specials. They weren't available as a factory option for the F100s until '73 though.
