Another disc brake question.

Post by mrtleavitt »

I got the front end off of a 1975 F150 and I'm putting it on my 72 F100. I have the link that explains everything about the swap, but I have one question: Can I use my '72 booster with a '75 master cylinder? My booster and my cylinder are brand new, the master cylinder hooks up on the opposite side for the '75 so I have to swap that, but I'd like to leave the booster. The '75 booster is a bigger unit so would that give me trouble?

the size of the booster isnt a problem. its the difference between a dual diaprham and single diaprham booster. i dont remember which is the larger but its all good. you can use your power disc brake master with the booster yuo have from th 75.
