Hi, New from Michigan

Post by moparmania »

Hi All,

I am new to the Ford truck scene, well sorta. I had an old Ford truck (54 F100) 25 years ago and now wanted another one (I am normally into Mustangs and Mopars). So, I just bought a 1968 F250 Ranger Camper Special with a 390/auto and air. It is all original except for the radio and wear items. It runs and drives and has power disk brakes too. I will pick it up Sunday, but here are some pics. I plan on restoring it to original, so I'm going to need a lot of help from this forum. Thanks in advance!

Welcome aboard!
Not a bad looking truck. A little TLC and she'll be good as new. I have a '69 F250CS myself, and drive a '99 Grand Voyager as my daily driver.

Welcome!

Looks like a lot of cancerous rust to cut out and replace...but definitely looks manageable.

How do those speakers sound? I'm looking for a good place to mount mine.

Nice grill.

Welcome from N.C. That look to be in excellent shape for that part of the country. I am originally from OH. and know the hazards of the salty winter roads.
