re: Truck frames
F-100s, F-250s, F-350s, 4x4s, 2wds, lwb, swb, single cab, crew cab. Some are the same, some are different, it all depends. All the frames are the same width, but they are all different lengths. If your asking if they are all alike throughout the 67-72 period then the answer is yes, they didn't change until 73-79. If you could please be a little more specific we would be happy to help you out

If it's a SWB bed, yes.

re: Truck frames
The '65-'66 SWB frame is 115", same as for a '67-'72. However, the '65-'66 LWB trucks had a 128" wheelbase, compared to the 131" wheelbase of the '67-'72 LWB trucks, so there's a 3" difference in length.
The '67-'72 LWB frame is a stretched-out version of a SWB frame...some of the extra length is in front of the axle, some behind. You'd have a lot of work shortening a LWB frame to fit a SWB truck, but it could definitely be done.

If the 67 cab is from a F100 or 2wd F250, F350 SRW yes. If it is a F350 dually cab or F250 4x4 cab it will not.ladz wrote:Ok a 72 swb f-100 frame , will a 67 body mount with out any modifications to the frame or body ?

i beleive the 4x4's atleast the 250 and such mount outside the frame kinda like the front. and the 2wd's mount inside the frame rails.

I don't want to give em a heart-attack. That is what would happen if I answered the door in the buff. Heck it almost scares me to death when I step out of the shower and look in the mirror.~Mancar1~

Re: re: Truck frames
There are 2 style of rear cab mounts. inside or outside of the frame.FLATBEDFORD wrote:What's different?ima71 trucks are older wrote:
