1970 cutoff dates?

what where the serial number they changed the steering components from 70 and up it was a something about the drag link and pitman arm, hole size. i dont remember does anyone else. i have a sag box and i am going to install it but i might have to change the draglink too. i would rather get the date instead of get the surprise when it wont fit right.
