Mine squeaked so bad I couldn't stand it. I'd spray penetrating oil and regular lube into it top and bottom, the squeak would almost go away for a day or three then come back. I got better results spraying from the top.
After I changed the cab mount........ Quiet! Not a squeak since.

kaos, Ive looked at the Ididits - expensive and I dont like the look. I wonder if some of the jeep columns would work. I picture something with a couple universal joints...
