The size of our beds...
Is our SWB bed the same width and length as newer fords?

From what I understand ours are a little wider than the newer ones, as well newer truck beds are tapered a little bit. I learned this while searching for a bed cover a while back. Hope this helps.

Funny you should ask. I always thought they were mostly 6 1/2 foot long for the short beds. And only after I sold my 96 and had a guy interested in the canopy did I measure and find out the 96 was 7 feet long and not 6 1/2 like the older ones.
