Aluminum rim problem
how can i take out nicks and scratches from the edge of an aluminum rim? Had a blowout and hit a curb at approx. 2-3 mph. it doesn't look bad, just ugly.

Maybe a mill b@st@rd file or start with 80 grit and work your way back to finer grit paper till you can polish.

In the aircraft repair industry, they tell us to try to dress the "wound" out about 10:1... that way a crack wont form.JH
