Hello New to the site

Post by mike73 »

Bought a 72 f100 a few months back. I am new to this stuff but I have always wanted an old truck. I will probably have alot of questions. My truck leaks like a sieve, transmission, oil and powersteering fluid. I just replaced the floor pans and cab mounts (they were gone, cab was sitting on the frame) now its time to fix this stuff. I replaced the transmission pan seal but it still seams to be leaking there. I have the lines too just need to put them on. Any good places to buy parts that will actually fit would be greatly appreciated. I bought the floor pans and cab mounts from a place that said they were right, when the body shop went to install them they were not!!! They had to modify all the parts to get them to work. :?

I love my old truck.

Welcome aboard!
Check out the Links and Resources tab at the top of the page. Get a catalog from the first 6 or 7 vendors listed. There's a lot of parts out there for these trucks.
