data plate decoding

hellow y am from mexico city and y just bought a 1971 sport custom long bed pick up f 100 from the us, y am tying to decoded but in the paint space in the data vin it has the leter x and y dont find that leter in the paint chart or do y find weare can y find the color of the interior, the truck is painted beige but in some paint chips it
is white under the beige paint the interior looks like it was ford blue can some body help me? thank you

Are you sure your truck is a '71 model? What's the last 6 digits of your VIN?

The color code 'X' was used on '69 trucks to indicate Marlin Blue, which sounds like what you've got. It's possible the truck was originally a two-tone paint, with Marlin Blue and White.

welcome to the site. i looked at the paint chips in the vin decoding section and i was able to see that y was for reef aqua color. it is a kind of medium blue color. it sounds like your truck was atuotone truck at one time. my guess is wimbeldon white and reef aqua blue.

i was looking at the 72 paint colors and the x and y came out to golden rod yellow and merdian green

y scrached the top of the right fender an it has like a blue color similar to swiss aqua or reef aqua

thank you for answering me wy chequed the dor tag with the title of ownership from the 70s and it maches the vin on the door tag is
