I did that to two trucks last week.
It's really a simple process as long as you have the right tools.
All of our stuff here is home made and works great.
I went from 1 3/4 degrees positive camber to 1 degree negative camber and the tires now wear perfectly and the truck handles a heck of a lot better.
For a street truck that doesn't do much hauling 1/2 to 3/4 degree negative camber is perfect.
Just be sure to bend them COLD. However tempting never use heat
if you use the flipping the hanger method to lower the back it will drop it 4''or 5'', i dought you'll be able to use the smaller tire method to level it out. besides if you tried it would open up a tremendous fender gap between your front tire and fender.
the best way to go for a 2 drop would be to get proper lowered springs, cutting them changes the spring rate and could handle poorly, lmc sells a lowered spring set for around 100 bucks, flipping the rear axle will give you quite a bit of drop, with 2" springs alone you may not be able to get it level
yea it going to chang the spring ratting. that why when you buy aftermarket lowering springs they have just as any coils. there just closer together. i think some aftermarket ones might even have more because the coil might not be that thick to get then closer.

But would you still have to get the I-beams bent, so the chamber will be right?
if you cut coils or go with lowered coils you will have considerable amounts of negitive camber. no question about it. i am going to have mine checked to get some hard numbers. this is with one full coil cut from a stock spring. it is very hard to get a good picture. i need to put it out on the street and get back further.
