Window seals

So i got the truck painted and now I am installing the windows. Whats the best way to install the front and rear window seals? Should I put them around the windows first? Thanks for the help?

yes the seals go on the windows first and then the chrome onto the seals and then you use the rope trick to install the whole setup into the truck.

What if you don't have the inserts? I bought the solid seals as the strip didn't work for the look I was going for. Whats the rope trick?

So I broke the windsheild!

i done that myself. you put rope around the inside of the rubber gasket and mount the bottom and the seal then you pull the rope to you and the rubber should pop into place. i would use silicone spray on the rubber to let it slide in place.
