water based paint

Post by Fossil Dawg »

I'm not ready for paint yet, I was just thumbing thru a "carcraft" mag and it had an article about beginners paint, it mentioned that new cars are comming out with it. So has anyone used it, is it any good, would you recomend it to your friends????? Thanks for the input

The ONLY true thing WE OWN and have to GIVE is our WORD. I did what others did not want to, and became what others could not, now the best "REVENGE TO WAR" is to live the best I can.

I haven't used it personally. I do know that most of them still have to be clear coated though. There is a brand called AutoAir Colors, I think. Anyway, you can spray it yourself. Either renting a booth or making your own booth. It doesn't have to be painted right away, but later on down the road, if you want it to shine, it needs to be clear coated. I'm unaware of any waterbased, safe, do-it-yourself clear coats.
