Where can one find a front bumper to fit a 1967 F-100 that is made in the USA and is every bit as good as the original? This truck was my Grandfather's truck. He bought it new and being a WW2 vet, he would roll over in his grave if I put foreign junk on it.
Thanks,
David Willingham

If it was me, I'd hit the junk yards and find a original Ford bumper in good shape. I forget the years that fit but from they're the same from the mid sixties to the mid seventies. Just measure the bolt holes to be sure.

I'd also suggest the junk yard. I went to the pick n pull this morning. They are having a 50% off sale this weekend. I bought a front bumper for my '71 F250. Took one off a '68. Just needs to be polished. Straight as an arrow and no extral holes. Cost me $23.00.

I agree, you're not going to find a reproduction bumper that's as heavy as an OEM piece...the repops are more a cosmetic item. Fortunately, good factory bumpers are still plenty plentiful in junkyards, and I see them listed on E-bay all the time.

Thanks everyone. The bumper that is on the truck is perfect except for a bent spot with a crack in it where Granddad hooked a chain to it. I may have to go the new cosmetic route IF they are made in the USA.
