New member from TX w/71 F100 XLT Pix inside

I just got a 71 F100 which I won on ebay on thursday..Came across this site on a search, looks like it going to be fun coming here..I am a Ford fan and also have a 98 04 and 06 F150's.. Im always on F150online. I should be getting my truck in a week or so, im very exited about getting it as it is my first classic car/truck..Plan on working on her to make her mine...I will be visiting here to find out more about these trucks, I cant wait :thup: Here are a few pix of the F100 and my F150.
BTW, can someone please tell me what that is on the front top of the hood? is that original? Thanks

Glad you got that truck, seen it there and thought it was great looking and beings an XLT it would be loaded up. Not sure on the hood emblem someone else here will know though.
