i drilled one out and I believe it seated down. the other one.....not so lucky as of yet. I don't have a drill bit one size over the holes, so I am going at them with a little smaller of one. it's getting there though i believe. i could have sworn we measurened the new vs. the stock ones and they were identical. maybe not. oh well. off to beat the piss outta these things a little bit more lol. it's a good stress reliever if anything (hammering) for a little, until it becomes the stress itself!

also, is there any reason why one of my new drums would be weighted, and one wouldnt?

The drums are spin balanced within a certain amount. Just like your tires on rims.
Otherwise they cause an out of balance wobble just like a tire would.

thats what i figured, just wondered why both wouldnt have weight on them.
