Brake booster help

Post by FormerMarine1981 »

I bought a new brake booster for my truck and it requires a threaded male attatchment to connect to the brake pedal. The old booster used just the rod to bolt to the brake pedal. On what year trucks did they start using the brake booster with the female threaded shaft.

I just replaced my booster and got the same thing. You have the wrong booster. They make it with adj. rod & w/out adj. rod.You need the one w/out the adj. rod.
