sliding back window and trim?

Would a sliding back window accept the chrome trim? Or is it completely different? I could end up with one for 25.00 is why i ask.

i don't think so i think it has its own trim. i think.

Still it would look nice. Except for some leftover stickers from bass masters and a few other clubs this window is in nice shape.

i've got my eye on one up here and i am thinking about it. but i just don't know if i want to do it. i know i'll lose my chrome trim if i put that one in.

so get a truck without the trim to install it on. Or do like the sbc(chebby) guys And turn it upside down and mount it in a chebby

Not sure if this is what you're talking about but my 69 ranger has a slider with the bright trim around it.

My 69 Ranger has a sliding rear window with the chrome trim but no one offers the rubber with the option of chrome trim and a sliding rear window. SOmehow mine has both.

It says specifically not for sliding rear window, but it might work who knows. If someone tries it let us know.

My '69 CS has chrome trim around the rear slider.

In installing both original and aftermarket sliders in my 67-72s and having had no problem with the rubbers (non-chrome), I can't see why the seal with the chrome slot would be any different. You install it to the window first than use the rope trick to install it in the truck.

This is because it has a after market window in the factory rubber.
Yes the slider will work in the factory rubber with the factory chrome.
