Style #2 is the way they were done from the factory.

I have a '69 F-250 4x4 cab that has the factory cab lights and they are evenly spaced. I'm sure they're factory too. The wiring harness for them has a fomoco tag on it and looks factory installed.

I like style #1 but style #2 is factory... Check out the factory brochures

I prefer style #1, it just makes your truck, "BEEFY", excuse pun from license plate. As an ex trucker, I like lights on big rigs and yours just looks BIG! :wink:

As others have said. Ford put 'em on in style two up until the super duty. I think Chevy used style one. I'd rather look like a Ford in somebody's rear view at night than look like one of those.
