New on the 4th
What a better way to wish everybody a hello and happy 4th of July than with a great old truck.
Hi, my name is Dave, and 20 years ago my stepdad and I built my beautiful '69 F100 from a cab and a frame. She is a great old gal that unfortunately I've had parked over the last 5 years or so, but I've got her running and licensed again. I have a couple of teenagers and getting a vehicle just for me has been tough, so my happy solution was "Missy Gwen".
Looking around for parts, and a wiring diagram because of brake light issue, I stumbled upon this wonderful site. I look forward to talking with you all and maybe picking your brains for ideas to make my old Ford even better.
Skol!

re: New on the 4th
Thanks for the warm welcome.
Speaking of a truck with history...
My eldest child was conceived in the back during a camping trip over 18 years ago, giving it not only an emotional link for me but for my wife.
Here's a picture of the old gal:
(Hope the picture isn't too big.)
