Is i possible to cut a style side long box into a short box? Has anyone done it? how do i get the measurements and how difficult is it? if you can answer any of these questions any help would be great

Sure somebody's done it. It's a pretty advanced project, especially if you want a decent end result.

I'd pay any price for a perfect SWB over spending the time cutting a LWB down. 100 hours of my time is worth more than that.

Matter of fact, I'm looking for a SWB bed and trying to rid of a LWB bed. I'm pretty sure I've seen it done by someone here, I just can't remember who. If you have the time/tools/knowledge, go for it, otherwise, it'd be easier to just buy the bed you need.

Hmmm.... maybe it was customcrewcab, but don't quote me on that. I'm not sure if he cut his bed down or not?

they did it on a cheby on trucks. didnt look all that hard.

cobraf-100's(Chris) truck started life as a long bed , so i know it can be done .
