Just curious if what Goldie does is normal or not. If I load up the bed of my truck with a lot of weight on one side, I get pretty good deflection in that direction. For example, the bed and cab are nicely level with each other then the bed is empty; I had a 900 lb engine/tranny combo in the bed lashed to the passenger side and the bed was down a good two inches from level, then. Is this the bed flexing? The frame? Is it normal?
There's no rust in my truck and I went underneath today to poke around and the frame looks pretty good, no cracks as far as I can tell.
I just don't want to stress something before fixing it if this doesn't sound normal to you guys. I have to haul an engine/tranny/front end/rear axle/wheels tomorrow so I can take a couple of pictures with it all loaded up.

re: Bed Flex
Pretty normal,
As Dustin said, try to center your load in the bed as much as possible.

yep, the 4x4 realy flex over uneven terrain. I think the frame and bed have a certain degree of give built in to them.

re: Bed Flex
Sounds about right. Frame should twist a little to compensate for load.
