Disc brakes are a bolt in with junkyard parts.Check out the suspension forums.Lots of info there.I'd say buy that sucker.

Again - all great info. I'll review the items on this site regarding disc brakes (there's something about rolling down a 3 mile hill with a trailered race car on the back that makes the idea of 4xdrums unsettling). There's a '69 F250 camper special around the corner for sale that I've looked at (some structrual rust issues), but wonder if that'd be a candidate for a front brake swap?

I'm going to try to attach a few photos.

The F250/F350 is an easier disc brake swap than the F100.

Yes, the 69 has disc brakes . .. and power steering . . . and factory a/c. If I buy the '70 I'll likely buy the '69 too, and use it to to build one truck - and then will have some spare parts if anyone's got a 'need it' list . . .

Looks good. And you're getting a parts truck too? Not a bad deal.
