I'm in the process of cleaning up/painting a '69 CS Cab during a frame-off rebuild and I was doing a little prep and what do you think I find... Bondo-arama. Basically from the driver side across most of the front and over the passenger side up bye the front. Holes through to the inside.
I'd like to know if this is a major issue or a minor issue. I was going to use POR-15 to seal the rust and then have my body shop 'fix' the holes.
However, I have another cab, no rust at the channels... does it make sense to cut the top off the rusty cab and replace it or is it easier to seal the rust and have the holes filled/welded or bondo'd etc.
Thanks for the tips.

it depends on how bad it is. you can look back through kieths first few pages of his project and see the trouble he went through just to repair his drip rain cab roof rust holes. he was in the process of replacing the whole piece on top in the front when he ended up with a different cab all together.
