I started to remove the front fenders from my parts truck this afternoon and ran out of light before I got them off. Was hoping someone could give me a head start for in the morning and get me pointed in the right direction. Where are the bolts located and how many are there that hold the fender on at the rear near the cab/door? The fender was loose except for that area but I didn't have time to figure out where it was still attached. Thanks for any help.

re: fender removal
There is one on the inside of the door jam 1/2in head dont drop your toods in there or have a magnet ready , then another on the bottomside of the fender a 9/16 head if you lay on your back and look up you'll see it. the rest are 1/2 inside the fenderwell on the front bolting it to the inner fender, grill and piece between the bumper and the grill then all the ones on top that you see when you open the hood.

You'll find it just inside the body through the opening where the top door hinge is.
And getting your tools out when (not if) you drop them can be a bear.

ive tied strings to wrenches so i can drop them all day long, it never is a matter of if you drop tools, its always when. course you could always glue the palms of gloves to each of your tools... ![Evil ](./images/smilies/icon_evil.gif)

re: fender removal
Since we're now on dropped tools, I found a nice Craftsman screwdriver that fell out on the ground when I removed the grill. There was a pack of new utility knife blades (unrusted amazingly) in the door, and vice grips under the mud in the bed. Gonna have to soak those in some naval jelly for a while...
