Hood Trim

Post by Blue Cloud »

I'm going to start sanding my hood on the 71 F250 today. Any hints or tricks on removing the trim along front edge of the hood. I've never removed these before and was wondering how hard or easy it is before I dive in.

The end pieces are screwed on from the outside. The center piece is snapped onto clips which are held on with nuts. You can remove the nuts from the backside of the hood lip. Just look, you'll see 'em.
