Those cans might work but you neet some kind of nozzle to atomize the paint. Maybe you can shove a paint can tip onto the end of the red tube. ???

I actually asked a friend, who was a painter at MAACO for several years, how they painted the area between the cab and bed...
especially when changing colors...
He said that they would just "fog" it. He said it was amazing how well it actually got covered. By "fogging" I assume that would involve using a differant venturi(?) and needle in the spray gun.
Back in the day, I used to do a lot of air brush work. I could swap out the needle/venturi set... run a little higher air pressure to paint ratio which would vaporize the paint, making the paint particles smaller and travel farther. It was a nice effect, you could hold the air brush a little further away and lay down thinner coats of paint, which won't run nearly as bad as thicker paint...
I have never used a full sized paint gun, but I assume that they work pretty much the same as their smaller cousins...
