gas tank

hey everyone,

has anyone ever mounted a after market fuel tank on a f-100, or put the original gas tank in the back of the truck bed?

i have mounted a aftermarket tank but I have not done anything with the one out of the cab.

If your truck is 2wd, you can find an aux tank setup from a 67-72 2wd and install it under the bed or flim flam something else together pretty easily.

What's wrong with the cab tank? I like mine. You get hit hard enough to pop that cab tank and your dead anyway.

I got this one out of a '68-72 suburban with the straps a couple of months ago. Aquired another one simular this weekend . Haven't compared them side by side due to current health recovery status.
My truck is a short wheel base and I have done some quick measuring with a little trimming it will fit between the rails and the 2 rear x members.
as soon as I can I will compare them side by side and then decide which I plan on using . Iposted this sometime earlier with some measurements IIRC. Stay tuned

Well it's not a stock frame but was is once you modify something on a truck right! 30 galon tank.
