Hood hinges

Either the ones I got at the junkyard are worse than the ones I had,or I screwed something up...I marked where the old ones were and put them exactly in the same place...The new hinges hold my hood open just fine---but when I close it the back of the hood sits up about 2-3 inches and I have to push it down by hand...Anybody had this problem?...

You bought junk hinges, can you return them for some better ones?

I have one, just liked how pretty that other one looked . I think the one I have is good, it held good pressure when I first got it.
