Well hello there neighbor!!!
Some pics would be nice, sounds like a good project though
As far as you're cab mounts--a 2X4 goes a long way that's what is pretty much keeping my cab stable at this point.

as far as those cab mounts go you can weld a piece of steel plate to the bottom and the front of the mount to bring it back up and hold it for now. and you could even put new rubber in there if you wanted. the best thing is to just buy a new mount a replace it with the correct piece. but its your truck do what you want .

oh, the rubbers there... its just "floating".
But I've just spent the last hour surfing this site. MAN!
This is great.
I will prob. opt for a ptch job now, until I can really get in there and do a correct replacement.
Thanks!

Every time I re-login I get happier and happier with my little purchase!
Well, its now in my driveway and my hands are all greasy.
For something that's been sitting for 5 years, it runs pretty well. Got down the street and back.
Only problems I have are: needs new tires, 2 lights are burns, muffler is... ummm missing, and the horn doesn't work. Most of that list will be taken care of Friday. Also, not a drop of oil leaking.... I'm actually amazed.
I don't know the mileage other than it ends in 20k. The pedals look new, and the interior is in mint. I wouldn't image it being over 120k.
One thing I'm looking for is the engine tag. I looked near the dipstick and didn't see anything. Then again, it’s late. Any advice on locating? Want to make sure it’s the original 352.
Also, I know the carb was replaced in '99 (as the tag on it says '99). I will get a number and photo of all this stuff. I think the carb needs some tuning. Or replacing if you guys thing I could do better.
Thanks again!
