Not a bad price for the buy it now if they are not worn out. If you go look in the yards to see if they are worn out just lift the hood up in the open position then see how much further they go up by pushing up more. I would say any more than 4" play is to much.
I bought a pair from Dennis Carpenters.I haven't installed them yet but they seem to be really good quality. They are gold plated and cost $100. each. The price hurts but every used set I found weren't worth installing.Good luck,Calvin

"Are you gonna make it all 220?"
"Yeah 220, 221, whatever it takes."
Mine were worn and bent pretty bad. I got out the welder and the vice and fixed them up really well. They look great and work very well. Now I just need to find somebody to chrome them.
my carpenter catalog only shows the standard painted ones for 100 a pop wonder what they'd charge for chrome?
