Soda Blasting

Post by XLT »

The engine is out of the truck and the transmission should be out this week. I am going to have the firewall and undercarriage soda blasted. What precautions should I take?

What should I know about this process?

I too plan on having my truck soda blasted. From what I have been told you can leave your glass and chrome on the truck and it will not be harmed. After the soda blasting you will have to rinse it with water and then have an etching primer applied. So I would say that you are probably in good shape.

This looks like a nice thing to have. Around $2500.
